///Using the infrared remote-sensing data of brightness temperature got from Chinese geostationary meteorological satellite, FY-2C, the authors analyze the thermal-infrared anomalous variation of the MS7.5 Andaman Islands earthquake and other strong earthquakes in the adjacent areas of its epicenter in recent years. The authors find that, in the south region of the epicenter, the thermal-infrared anomalies began to appear about two months before the earthquake. About 5 days after the earthquake, the anomaly disappeared.
