///Using the infrared remote-sensing data of brightness temperature got from Chinese geostationary meteorological satellite, FY-2C, the authors analyze the thermal-infrared anomalous variation of the M_S7.5 Andaman Islands earthquake and other strong earthquakes in the adjacent areas of its epicenter in recent years. The authors find that, in the south region of the epicenter, the thermal-infrared anomalies began to appear about two months before the earthquake. About 5 days after the earthquake, the anomaly disappeared.
