摘要
From a new viewpoint, visual pollution is considered an impact assessment in mine environment. Viewshed analysis method by ArcGIS is applied to determine if the area is visual polluted by mining. The technical framework, key techniques and steps are introduced in detail in this paper. In the basic methods by ArcGIS, the visual bald mountain area caused by mining is calculated and visualized. The results show that visual pollution assessment of mine based on GIS can provide more reasonable and scientific assessment.
