摘要
Hydrocarbon gas components, CO2, N2 contents and drying coefficients are good indicators of gas migration and geochemistry, which shows the longitudinal variation of vertical gas migration characteristics. One thousand geochemical parameters from West Sichuan Depression was collected and analyzed systematically so as to investigate the characteristics of primary and second gas and transport mechanism. Formation pressure and the tectonic stress field are thought to be the main driving force for the gas migration in West Sichuan Depression. The migration of the secondary gas reservoir of Jurassic is different from that of the original gas pools of Triassic. Natural gas in the Upper Jurassic came from the underlying Xujiahe Formation with the faults as the main transporting channels. Part of Middle Jurassic gas reservoir from the Xujiahe gas source came along the high-speed migration path and some of the lower reservoir formed through a water-soluble phase gas source to the way migration-accumulation.
