Localization of Concealed Orebodies of the Shizishan Copper Deposit——An Application of Tectono-Geochemical Prospecting Method

Based on the summarization of tectonic ore-controlling,theories and methods of tectono-geochemistry are used for localization-prognosis of concealed minerals. According to system field sampling and indoor comprehensive test analysis, it showed that the association of elements of Cu-Mo-Ag-Bi and Na2O-Zn-Ge-Ag-Sn-Pb were related to the reworked metallogenesis. The associated Cu-Mo-Ag-Bi is the main mineralization indicator while the association of elements of Na2O-Zn-Ge-Ag-Sn-Pb is indirect. The tectono-geochemical abnormal in the ore field spreads along NE-SW, and is in line with the main ore bearing stratum fault and axial direction of fold. The geochemical abnormal weakens from NE to SW, and has a reinforcing trend to SE. Geochemical abnormal center is situated between No.3 prospecting line and No.8 prospecting line, overlaped by main ore body. It is implied that the mineralization fluid and tectono-geochemistry abnormal are controlled both by statum and fold.
