Application of Wavelet Transform-Based Signal Singularity Detection in Horizon Identification

摘要

The wavelet transform not only has localization property in both time domain and frequency domain, but also by using it the signal singularity analysis can be conducted. Through singularity analysis the location of the singular point need to be determined, and the suitable wavelet function and scale also need to be chosen to accurately describe the singular point. Regarding to the characteristics of the impedance data the concept of the impedance basis function was presented in this paper, and the impedance basis function which is more suitable for impedance analysis was estimated.
