摘要
Fractures were important for tight sand reservoir of Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in Guang’an region, Sichuan Province. Based on the dates of ESR measurement of quartz and calcite minerals in fractures, it was estimated that fractures formed in three periods, about 93.4 ~74.3 Ma, 38.7 ~34.2 Ma and within 10 Ma.The first period occurred while the late Yanshanian movement developed, in which tension fissures formed and were associated with wrinkle. Then the fractures connected the hydrocarbon source rock and tight sand reservoir, and had a constructive role for the formation of gas reservoir. The second period happened about in the 1st episode of Himalayan movement, which associated with faults formed along with rapid uplifting of the whole Sichuan Basin. The fractures had broken the older traps and had some destructive effect for the gas reservoir. The third period happened in the 2nd episode of Himalayan movement, after the destructive effect of the second-period fractures, which improved the reservoir property and permeability in somewhat, and had an adjusting and shaping effects for the gas reservoir.
