The Helenifore robustum radiolarian fauna is discovered in the cherts of the Xiangshuidong Formation of early Late Devonian (Frasnian) at the Bazhai Village of Ziyun County, Guizhou Province. Thirteen species (including one indeterminata and two new ones) assigned to seven genera are discribed. Based on the characteristics and comparative relation of this fauna between China and other countries, this fauna found in Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi of China and the northern parts of Thailand should belong to the planktonic fauna of the autochthonous position in the Palaeo-Tethys, and that one in the Slaven Chert of Roberts Mountains allochthon, Nevada, America and in the siliceous siltstones of New England Orogen, East Australia may be one allochthonous fauna, where the plate movement put together these stratigraphic fragments of the Helenifore robustum-bearing radiolarian fauna on the Continents of North America and East Australia.
