摘要
S-wave velocity,which is not sufficient in realistic well logging data,plays an important role in reservoir characterization and fluid identification.In this paper,a new S-wave velocity prediction method is presented.Through introducing critical porosity into Pride model and combining Gassmann theory,P-wave velocity and S-wave velocity model of fluid saturated rock is established.The model is applied to S-wave velocity prediction of measured data in lab and realistic well logging data.The predicted results demonstrate that S-wave velocity prediction method based on critical porosity Pride model proposed in this paper is effective.
