///Taking the evaluation practice of radioactivity for a certain quarry for water supply project transferring from Taohe River as an example, the rock materials are safe to use for construction and indices for evaluating radioactivity level meet the requirements of drinking water projects. The results of gamma scanning rate and gama-spectrometic measurement in quarry, rock sample test for specific activity and leaching rate of nuclides show that the rock materials meet the requirements.
