Application of 3D Geological Simulation in Deep Ore Exploration

摘要
Grim situation in the sector of mineral resources has greatly reinforced the importance of deep ore exploration in China. As a new effective technology, 3D geological simulation that models an ore deposit in three dimensions can express various geological information quantitatively and positionally, effectively rebuild structural form of a mine at both deep and shallow level. This paper described wide applications of 3D geological simulation in deep ore exploration, including deep ore body modeling, integrated analysis, automatic generation of a variety of graphs,which can provide visual and quick data and technique in support of ore deposit reserve estimate, metallogenic law summarization, deep metallogenic prognosis and mine production.
