///The southern ramp of the Beidaokou overpass is only 2.0 m from the resident building at Guangyu Road, Tielin City, Liaoning Province, which makes it impossible to construct the retaining wall with open excavation. Through comparison of various alternatives, the jet-grouting method is adopted. This paper describes the jet-grouting process and its benefits.
