摘要
本文根据作者的所见所闻与深入的研究调查,对美国德克萨斯州圣安东尼奥中央图书馆的读者服务工作作出了一些思考。文章介绍了该馆读者服务的四大理念,阐述了其在针对弱势群体开展的读者服务的人性化之处,分析了该馆在读者服务工作上引入的一些新技术,探讨了该馆在市场推广方面的优势。文章还提出了一些针对我国公共图书馆读者服务的改进策略,以期为提升国内图书馆读者服务质量提供参考。
Based on what the author has seen and heard and his In-depth research and investigation,this paper makes some reflections on the reader service of the San Antonio Central Library in Texas, USA. This paper introduces the four concepts of reader service of the library, expounds the humanization of reader service for the disadvantaged groups, analyzes some new technologies introduced by the library in reader service, and probes into the advantages of the library in market promotion.This paper also puts forward some strategies to improve the reader service of public libraries in China in order to provide references for improving the service quality of domestic library readers
