Debris flow is one of the common physical and geological phenomena in engineering geology foundation. As a major hazard source in hydropower project construction,it is also one of the main engineering geological problems that must be explained and solved in the investigation of reservoir area of hydropower station, especially the site selection of project projects or the layout of dam sites directly determined by Near-dam debris flow.Debris flow geology survey is carried out in a KAS ditch near a dam of a hydropower station in Pakistan according to relevant rules and regulations. On the basis of field geological engineering survey and combined with some simple pit exploration techniques, the susceptibility degree is scored, distinguished and classified, and its influence on dam site is evaluated in engineering geology.
