重庆市高校图书馆馆员形象调查研究
摘要
不同学者对图书馆馆员形象有不同的界定，但具有一定共同点，即他们都认为馆员形象是读者对馆员形成的一种综合印象和评价。本文认为所谓图书馆馆员形象就是指读者对由图书馆馆员的内在特点所决定的外在表现的总体印象和评价。第一，图书馆馆员形象是一种总体评价，这种总体评价是各种具体评价的总和；第二，图书馆馆员形象的塑造主体是图书馆馆员，形象的评价主体是读者；第三，图书馆馆员形象源于馆员自身的表现；第四，馆员的表现是由馆员的内在特点所决定的。
本研究以探讨内外公众对重庆市高校图书馆馆员形象的评价为目的。在借鉴国内外相关研究资料的基础上，采用自编的《高校图书馆馆员形象调查问卷》分别对重庆市五所高校的603名公众进行了调查。通过抽样调查，基本上掌握了重庆市高校图书馆馆员形象的现状。在此基础上，结合馆员形象的要素，对如何提升重庆市高校图书馆馆员形象提出了若干建议。
研究结果表明：
(1)图书馆馆员形象是一个多成分系统，主要包括内在形象和外在形象两大层面，具体分为生理形象、礼仪形象、职业道德、业务能力和文化素养五个维度。
(2)本研究自编的《高校图书馆馆员形象调查问卷》具有可以接受的信度和效度，可以作为调查高校图馆馆员形象状况的测量工具。
(3)重庆市高校图书馆馆员形象现状是：公众对重庆市高校图书馆馆员的整体形象给予了“中上”的评价。但是，不同的公众对于馆员总体形象的评价存在显著性差异，内部公众对于馆员形象的评价明显高于外部公众对于馆员形象的评价，外部公众即教师和学生对于馆员形象的评价无显著差异。不同年龄的公众对重庆市高校图书馆馆员形象的评价存在显著
Different experts have kinds of understandings on the image of library workers, and there is something in common, that is they all consider the image of library workers to be reader's integrated impression and appraise on library workers. This study considers the image of library workers to be reader's collective impression and appraise on the outside representation decided by the internal traits of library workers. Firstly, the image of library workers is a kind of collective appraise, which is the integration of kinds of idiographic appraises; Secondly, the principal part of building the image of library workers is the library workers themselves, while the principal part of appraising is the readers; Thirdly, the image of library workers roots from the representation of themselves; Fourthly, the representation of the library workers is decided by their internal traits.
This study determines to discuss the publics' appraises on the image of library workers of universities in Chongqing. Based on the concerning datas, the study investigates six hundred and three publics of five universities in Chongqing using the 'Investigation questionnaire on the image of library workers of universities' which is made by the author. Through the research, the study basically holds the present condition of the image of university library workers. What's more, relating with the factors of the image of library workers, the study also puts forward several suggestions for improving the image of university library workers.
The results of the study indicate the following contents:
