河南省恐龙化石科学特征及保护研究

摘要
河南地处中国大陆的东部腹地,是中国南北之间地质、地理、生物和气候的天然分界或过渡带,也是中国南北板块的拼合带和重要的矿产成矿带。分布着华北和华南陆块上皆有的、未有的以及在特定地质构造演化阶段和环境中生成的过渡性地层、古生物地质遗迹资源,因此成为研究中国大陆地壳演化和生物演化的理想场所,也是国家级古生物研究机构和大专院校专家学者研究古生物的重要地区之一,历来为中、外地质学家所瞩目。
     恐龙化石承载有重要的科学价值、社会价值和经济价值,恐龙的研究、利用与保护是当今社会关注的热点之一。以河南丰富的恐龙化石资源为依托,通过对恐龙化石的调查、发掘,科学特征和保护研究,不仅可获得一批重要的科研成果,促使发现更多更完整的恐龙化石和其它脊椎动物化石,促进和提升河南省恐龙研究水平,为中新生代盆地地层学和古地理、古环境研究提供重要的科学素材,而且可促进地质遗迹保护和地质公园建设,带动生态环境保护、旅游经济等方面的发展,达到促进地区经济效益增长和社会进步之目的。
     本次全面回顾了省内外学者近三十年来对河南省恐龙化石的发现及研究历史,赋存化石的中生代盆地地质构造背景、地层分布、古地理环境等的研究成果。首次对全省恐龙蛋化石、恐龙骨骼化石及其它类型的恐龙化石在中生代盆地的分布、古生态特征、古地理环境、古气候、地质背景等科研成果进行了全面清理和总结。
     本次新发现了汝阳盆地、潭头盆地两个规模较大的恐龙化石群;对含恐龙化石群地层和盆地的发展演化历史重新进行了厘定。对新发现的汝阳盆地大型蜥脚类恐龙新科新种——汝阳黄河巨龙、结节龙新属新种——洛阳中原龙,潭头盆地兽脚类新属进行了初步研究。全面评价了河南恐龙化石的科学研究和保护价值,论述了其社会经济价值。认为河南的恐龙化石具有很高的科研价值和开发利用的社会经济价值,指出了目前化石保护及开发中存在的问题,提出应按“科学规划,有效保护,适度开发”的原则及时对这些地区的恐龙化石进行逐级保护和开发利用。为有效保护河南省恐龙化石提供科学依据。
Henan Province is located in the eastern interior of mainland China, which is the natural boundary or transitional zone in geology, geography, biology and climate between the South and the North China. It is also the amalgamation zone and an important mineral metallogenic belt between north plate and south plate in China. Here distributed are the transitional strata and paleobiological, geological heritage resources were formed under the special stage and geological tectonic evolution, which have/haven’t discovered in North China and South China. Therefore, it has become an ideal place to study the crustal evolution and the biological evolution of China mainland and it is also one of important areas to study paleontology for specialists and scholars from national research institutes on paleontology and universities. It has been caused much attention by many geologists at home and abroad.
     Based on the rich dinosaur resources in Henan Province, the author has obtained some important results through the scientific study and protection research of dinosaurs and,these results can help to discover more and more complete dinosaurs and other vertebrate fossils, to promote and raises the research level on the systematic paleontology and dinosaurs in Henan Province, and thus provides important scientific data on stratigraphy, paleogeography and paleoenvironment of Mesozoic basins, which can accelerate to build protection system at all levels and geological parks, all these can bring about a great advance in environment protection, tourism economy, agriculture, industrial production and social civilization.
     The discovery and research history of Henan dinosaurs, and the results of tectonic settings, stratigraphic distribution and paleogeographic environment etc of Mesozoic basin in recent 30 years were thoroughly reviewed. This is the first time to sum up the distribution, paleoecological characters, paleogeographic environment, paleoclimatology and geologic settings of Mesozoic basin which bear dinosaur eggs,dinosaur skeletons and other fossils in Henan Province.
     Two newly-discovered large-scaled dinosaur assemblages from Ruyang Basin and Tantou Basin have been discovered respectively. The dinosaur-bearing strata and the evolution of the basin have been corrected. Two new dinosaurs from the Ruyang Basin- Huanghetitan ruyangensis and Zhongyuansaurus luoyangensis and one theropod dinosaur from Tantou Basin were briefly described. The scientific research and protection value on dinosaur fossils from Henan Province are thoroughly evaluated and their social economic values are discussed too. The dinosaurs from Henan Province are regarded as having high scientific value and social economic values of cultivating. Some present problems on fossils’protection and development are put forward. The principle of“Scientific planning, effective protection and reasonable development”is proposed to protect and develop dinosaurs from Henan Province.
