A Fuzzy Analytic Network Process Model for Evaluation of Ship Maneuverability

摘要
In this paper,a novel fuzzy Analytic Network Process(ANP) model is proposed for the evaluation of ship maneuverability.To cope with ambiguity and vagueness problem,the index evaluation decision-making matrix is constructed and the indexes attribute values are fuzzed with triangular fuzzy numbers.Meanwhile,the evaluation indexes weights are determined by analytic network process since the capable of overcoming the interdependence and interaction among criteria or factors.The main difference of this study from other studies and its contribution is that it suggests a model which tries to eliminate the vagueness and insufficiency via fuzzy ANP method for evaluation of ship maneuverability.The proposed fuzzy ANP model can analyze the fuzzy interactions among the factors for evaluation of ship maneuverability,and the maneuverability of ship can be measured on the basis of the factor weights obtained at the end of these analyses.At last,the test parameters of a real ship handling are applied to the case study to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed scheme.The results show that the proposed fuzzy ANP approach is a viable and highly capable methodology and can be used as an effective tool for the evaluation of ship maneuverability.In addition,a comparison with the fuzzy AHP model is performed for the evaluation of ship maneuverability,and experimental results are encouraging.
