自闭症谱系障碍儿童平滑追踪眼动特点研究

摘要
平滑追踪眼动指眼睛追随慢速运动的目标以使其处于中央凹时的眼球运动,仅在视觉追踪运动目标的过程中产生。考察自闭症的平滑追踪眼动特点,有助于了解其感知和利用视觉运动信息、预测目标运动等方面的能力,更进一步探索其动态视觉信息的注意加工模式。本研究选取了自闭症儿童和与之性别、年龄相匹配的正常儿童各20名作为被试。研究分为两部分:第一部分考察自闭症儿童和正常儿童在平滑追踪能力上的差异,采用坡道任务和振荡任务范式,使用眼动仪分别采集两组被试的眼动追踪指标进行分析比较;第二部分加入目标闪烁的线索提示,考察是否对自闭症儿童的平滑追踪眼动产生影响。结果显示:(1)正常儿童的眼动轨迹接近于目标运动轨迹,而自闭症儿童在平滑追踪过程中,注视点的分布较为分散,其眼睛位置与目标位置的偏离程度显著大于正常儿童;(2)正常儿童对两种目标刺激的追踪表现无差异,而自闭症儿童追踪变速的振荡刺激比追踪匀速的坡道刺激明显更困难;(3)目标闪烁的线索提示对自闭症儿童平滑追踪影响显著,线索提示有助于其追踪过程中注意的维持。本研究表明,自闭症儿童平滑追踪眼动存在一定缺陷,我们认为其原因可能在于其视觉追踪过程中注意维持困难。
Smooth pursuit eye movement(SPEM) are evoked by moving visual stimuli and serve to maintain the image of the moving object on the fovea,which is only occurred in the process of visual tracking. Exploring the characteristics of SPEM in autistic children contributes to understand how they perceive and use the visual movement information and how they predict the movement of the targets. On this basis, we can furtherly discuss the attention processing model of dynamic visual information.We adopted 20 autistic children as our subjects and they were matched with another 20 typical children to control gender and age. The present research was divided into two basic parts: the first part, in order to compare the smooth track ability differences between the autistic children and typical children, we use eye movement tracking instrument in ramp task and oscillation task paradigm, and their eye tracking index, root-mean-square error(RMSE) of the path between target and tracking, were obtained to analyze. The second part, we employed glint clues on target, to test whether they would have any influence on SPEM of children with autism. Results indicated that:(1) The eye movement trajectory of typical children were very close to the target movement trajectory, however, fixation point distribution of autistic children were more dispersed in the process of smooth tracking, the deviation degrees between each target and its correspoding fixing position were significantly greater than the ones in the typical groups, each condition respectively.(2) The typical groups showed no difference in the performance between two kinds target trajetory, but autistic groups have more difficult in tracking oscillation than ramp trajetory significantly.(3) Glint cue on target significantly influence on children with autism in smooth tracking, and clues could help matain their attention on the target in the tracking process.In general, it showed that children with autism smooth had more difficulties in tracking target movement.
