一种500GHz基于加载电容电感效应的反射型极化变换器

摘要
本文提出将传统反射型极化变换器表层金属线栅开口截断和增加金属线栅宽度的方法,以引进极化变换器表层金属图案对两极化方向相互正交电磁场的等效电容电感效应,达到对不同极化方向入射电磁波进行相位调制的目的。该新型反射型极化变换器由一层周期矩形金属图案、一层特定厚度聚酰亚胺薄膜和一层金属底层组成。仿真结果表明该极化变换器工作在500GHz频段时,作为中间介质基底的聚酰亚胺厚度为34um,反射圆极化波带宽约为140GHz。最后在仿真基础上提出了薄膜光刻工艺来对设计的极化变换器进行加工制作。
The method of broadening and truncating the metallic wire grid of traditional polarization converter is proposed, to form a new metallic array on the surface of the polarization converter, which introduces the equivalent capacity and the equivalent inductance of two orthogonal linearly polarized incident electromagnetic waves, the phase of the two orthogonal polarized waves are modulated. The reflective polarization converter constructed by a layer of rectangle metal pattern, a polyimide substrate at a due thick, and a layer of metallic grounded outlet. The result of the simulation testified that the working frequency band of the improved polarization converter is about 140GHz; and the thickness of the polyimide substrate is 34 um. Based on the result of the simulation, a flexible thin-film photoetching method is proposed for the process of the polarization converter.
