盐度和食物对海洋纤毛虫——盐田蚕豆虫种群增长的影响

盐田蚕豆虫(Fabrea salina)是一种生活在高盐度、中上层水域的纤毛虫,它具有在水产养殖场中被用做活生物饵料的潜力。本实验在不同的盐度和两种不同类型的饲料(商业酵母和杜氏藻)条件下进行。与酵母相比,用浓度为6 x 106cell/mL的杜氏藻投喂可获得最大的种群密度(302个/mL),而对于投喂10mg/L干酵母,最高的密度为28个/mL。不同的食物也对盐田蚕豆虫种群增长率产生了明显的影响:杜氏盐藻投喂组的盐田蚕豆虫在各盐度下均获得较高的增长率(55‰下达1.0548 d~(-1))和最大的种群数量,干酵母投喂组则在增长率和最大种群数量上均较小。统计分析显示,食物对盐田蚕豆虫的种群增长率有显著影响(P<0.01)。盐度(‰)在35~65范围内对盐田蚕豆虫的种群增长未有明显影响。
Fabrea salina is a pelagic and hypersaline ciliate having potential to be used as live food source in commercial aquahatcheries. This experiment was carried out under different salinity and two different types of feed(commercial yeast and Dunaliella). Compared to yeast, the maximum population density(302 ciliates/m L) was obtained with Dunaliella used at 6 x 10~6 cell/mL concentration, whereas with yeast, the highest density was 28 cell/m L at the corresponding food concentration of 10mg/L. Meanwhile, food prey types markedly affected the growth rate of Fabrea salina. The growth rate and maximal population size of Fabrea salina were the highest when it was supplied with D. salina. Statistical analysis showed suggested that the food had a significant effect on the population growth rate of Fabrea salina(P <0.01). The population growth and the morphology of this specie were not significantly affected by the significantly in the range from 10 to 60 ‰.
