用于同步辐射的计数型硅像素探测器读出芯片初步设计

摘要
针对北方光源探测器预研,本文介绍了一款混合型硅像素探测器读出芯片的初步设计。系统针对同步辐射小角散射应用,工作在单光子计数模式下,计划实现9cm×9cm的灵敏面积。该原型读出芯片包含12×20像素阵列,像素面积为150μm×150μm。实测结果表明,读出芯片可以实现好于100e~-的电子学噪声水平,和好于100e-的阈值一致性,从而使得芯片可以实现8keV~20keV的能量探测需求。单元电路可实现1MHz/pixel的计数率指标,从而实现20位的动态范围,并可同时满足好于1k Hz的帧刷新率。
A prototype design of a readout chip for the hybrid silicon pixel detector system in High Energy Photon Source was introduced. Aiming for Small Angle X-ray Scattering application, the final sensitive area is scheduled to be more than 9cm×9cm, and the system works in single photon counting mode. The prototype readout chip includes a 12×20 pixel array, with a pixel size of 150μm×150μm. The measurement results show, the electronic noise level of the readout chip is better than 100e~-, and the threshold uniformity is better than 100e-, which promise the chip to fulfill the energy detecting range of 8keV ~20keV. The pixel cell can achieve a signal rate of 1MHz/pixel, which equivalents to 20 bit dynamic range, and can achieve a frame rate better than 1kHz.
