摘要

悉尼皇家植物园(The Royal Botanic Garden,Sydney)创建于1816年,经过近200年的发展,从最早的仅具植物收集、科研功能的机构逐渐演变成集公众休闲、娱乐、城市历史、文化、艺术展示为一体的综合性城市植物园。本文通过对悉尼皇家植物园历史资料收集和更新规划的研究,总结其发展历程并探讨场地在保持景观地域性基础上不断更新的方法。
Opened in 1816,the Royal Botanic Garden has been transformed from a research-based institution into a multi-functional attraction in Sydney within the last two centuries.By reviewing the history and analyzing the renovation process of the Royal Botanic Garden,this thesis attempts to be an initial step toward producing renewal panning strategies while preserving the regional characteristics in the heart of Sydney.
