A country needs to stand on the shoulders of giants in order to rise as a great power. Europe, where the ancient Silk Road used to end, once governed the world, which grants it a voice in the "connectivity in five areas", i.e. connectivity of policy, transportation, trade, currency and the heart of the people. Hence, Europe is our ideal partner in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative. Winning the support of Europe has global significance for countries along the Belt and Road all have inextricable connections with the continent. The example of Europe shows that targeted measures should be taken to deal with the risks in regard to the perception of the Belt and Road Initiative and effectively respond to the concerns.
