摘要
唐诗英译需要译者深入挖掘原诗的内涵,发掘语言的意象。意象是中国古诗的基本特征之一,而唐诗意象翻译历来是翻译中的难点问题。本文拟在语用学的视域下,从顺应论的角度思考唐诗意象翻译的相关问题,从而扩展意象翻译视野。翻译过程需要不断做出选择,因此,如何在翻译过程中,于众多可能性中做出正确选择成为了本文关注的焦点。本文以顺应论为理论框架,从顺应论中的语境关系顺应角度出发,比较并分析了不同唐诗英译本的差异与特点,总结出译者在译诗过程中既应顺应诗人的内心世界,又应顺应译者本身的心理状态,顺应结果将成为影响翻译实践的重要因素。
This thesis intends to approach imagery translation in the poetry of Tang Dynasty from a pragmatic point of view in order to broaden the horizon of the English translation of image.Making various choices are included in the translation process, thus as a result, this thesis focuses on how to make choices among a variety of possibilities during the translation process. The thesis is a tentative study into the image translation under the framework of adaptation theory and its contextual correlates of adaptability. It draws a conclusion on the ground of comparison and explanation of the result that just as the translator needs to interadapt with the poet's mental world,the choices made are always adapted to the mental world of the translator. And whether the adaptation has been madewould affect the translation results.
