高浓度有机废水污染控制的电化学原理与技术

摘要
高浓度有机废水的污染物浓度高,化学耗氧量高达2000 mg/L,甚至数万。我国高浓度有机废水排放量大,每年超过100亿吨,居世界第一位。高浓度有机废水含有大量的有毒难降解有机污染物,是废水处理领域的焦点、难题和挑战。电化学方法可以用来揭示废水中有机污染物存在状态及其转化过程与机制,目前需要解决高浓度废水中可生化降解有机污染物的快速测定技术瓶颈,从而为实际运行工艺提供及时的水质信息反馈。电化学氧化技术则能够破坏有毒难降解有机污染物的分子结构,消减其毒性,是一种环境友好、可持续的水处理化学方法。但是,电化学原位制备氧化剂是一个复杂的电极过程,能耗高、效率低。为此,我们提出了可生化降解有机污染物的快速测定概念、原理和技术方法,研制了相应的库仑法生化需氧量(BOD_Q)测定仪,并构建了从废水中高效原位制取氧化剂的可调控电化学体系,成功处理垃圾渗滤液并达到国家新的排放标准排放。
Highly concentrated organic wastewater contains pollutants with high COD concentration over 2000 mg L-1 or even tens of thousands.China ranks the first in the discharge of this type of wastewater with 10 billion tons per year.Due to the large amount of toxic and harmful organic pollutants,this type of wastewater brings great challenge for the field of wastewater treatment.Electrochemical method can be employed to disclose the existence of pollutants and the mechanism of their conversion,while it is needed to solve the bottleneck problem of rapid quantification of bio-degradable organic pollutants,and thus the treatment process can get in-time response of water quality.Electrochemical oxidation technique poses to decompose the molecular structures of toxic organics and thereby decrease or even remove the toxicity completely as an environmentally friendly and sustainable method.However,the in-situ preparation of oxidants is a complex electrode process with high energy consumption and low efficiency.In this context,we proposed a new concept,principle,and method of bio-degradable organic pollutants,and developed the associated instrument named as coulombic BOD(BODQ) measurement instrument.Meanwhile,we constructed an adjustable electrochemical system which produced oxidants in situ with high efficiency.This system was successfully employed in the purification of landfill leachate to satisfy the new national discharge standard.
