摘要
地球深部岩石流变学研究是地球科学的热点和难点,对高温-高压岩石俯冲-折返带韧性变形的观测尚不充分,特别是榴辉岩的变形方式、机制及构造意义尚不明确.本文选取河北赤城红旗营子杂岩强变形退变质榴辉岩为研究对象,基于传统观测与扫描电子显微镜(Scanning Electron Microscope,SEM)及电子背散射衍射(Electron Backscatter Diffraction,EBSD)定量观测,对其显微构造及组构特征进行分析.研究发现:折返过程中退变质新生石榴子石发生明显塑性变形,但没有明显的晶格优选(Lattice Preferred Orientation,LPO),其成因是位错蠕变时多滑移系的同时启动;斜长石表现出特殊的组构特征,(001)面在Z方向上存在极密,该特征可能与此前没有报道过的[100](001)滑移系启动有关;此外,石榴子石退变质形成的斜长石的取向差角分布图呈"双峰式",即在低取向差角(小于40°)和高取向差角(大于140°)均存在峰值,且从残斑周边向外,最大峰值由低取向差角变为高取向差角,高角度晶界增多,其变形过程受母晶晶体方位和颗粒边界滑动控制.角闪石发生位错蠕变和溶解-沉淀作用,在角闪石条带和退变质石榴子石眼球中表现出一致的LPO,解释为[001](010)滑移系启动所致,取向差角分布图存在低取向差角峰值.分析表明,该退变质榴辉岩的韧性变形主要发生在折返过程,伴随退变质作用进行.
