高校外语教师技术学术写作素养探究——一项基于质性数据分析的实证研究

摘要
技术写作是利用写作进行技术传播的过程,文章在此基础上提出"技术学术写作"理念并探讨高校外语教师技术学术写作素养的内涵和实现途径。本研究对华东某外语教师学习共同体中的九名教师进行了为期一年的跟踪调查,通过访谈法、观察法与网络志等研究方法收集数据,利用计算机辅助的主题分析法解析数据。研究发现:①研究对象的技术学术写作素养体现在写作方式的"程序化"、写作内容的"结构化"和写作过程的"动态化";②研究对象通过多维方式提高技术学术写作素养,其中文献阅读是前提,团队学习是支持,技术工具是助推。本研究丰富了学术写作研究的维度,并为外语教师技术学术写作实践及专业发展提供了一定启示。
        This research proposes the construct of "technically academic writing" based on the features of technical writing and academic writing, and explores nine foreign language teachers' academic writing practices in a teachers' learning community in East China. Interviews, observations, and netnographic methods are applied to collect data and thematic analysis assisted by CADQA is adopted in coding, sorting, synthesizing and theorizing the data. The findings of the research include: 1) Foreign language teachers' technically academic writing literacy consists of interrelated aspects, i.e. formulaic writing mode, structured writing contents, and dynamic writing process; 2) Multiple means are used to improve foreign language technically academic writing, i.e. literature reading for sufficient input, community learning as a motivator, and computer software as efficient tools. This study adds new dimensions to the understanding of academic writing and leads to insightful suggestions for foreign language teachers' technically academic writing and their professional development.
