Learners are required to make a predictive assessment of their learning outcomes at different stages of learning, and explore the impact of different types of metacognitive judgments on the accuracy of people's metacognitive monitoring. 60 college students participated in the experiment. The results show that with the deepening of learning, the accuracy of metacognitive monitoring is gradually improved, and the accuracy of metacognitive monitoring in the latter stage is significantly higher than that in the previous stage. The results of this study validate the notion that retrospective metacognitive monitoring is more accurate than prospective metacognitive monitoring.
