摘要
Nowadays,asphalt emulsion cold in-place recycling (CIR) has been used in asphalt pavement preservation and maintenance in China.The paper will be undertaken with the objective to evaluate asphalt emulsion CIR mixture used as binder course on different traffic volume roads.Properties of six different recycling mixtures were evaluated.Additionally,the microstructure of emuslion-cement / fine mastics was analyzed using a SEM,and post-project monitoring was adopted.Therefore,the performance,specifications of asphalt emulsion CIR mixture used as binder course was reconmmended.The results indicated that CIR was an effective method for the preventive and corrective maintennance of existing pavement.The analysis of CIR benefits suggests that CIR is consistent with pavement sustainable development according to its remarkable economic benefits,environmental benefits and social benefits.
