摘要
In this study, the combined effects of highly inhibitory allelochemicals gramine from Arundo donax and ethyl 2-methylacetoacetate (EMA)from Phragmites communis on cyanobacterium Microcystis aeruginosa and their potential mechanisms were investigated. The results showed that the growth of M.aeruginosa was still significantly inhibited when gramine and EMA were added joindy. The combined inhibition of gramine and EMA was enhanced with exposure time increasing. However, antagonism was found for gramine and EMA with co-toxicity coefficient (CTC)lower than 70,and addition index (AI)lower than 0.The medium effective concentration ( EC50,3d) of their mixture was 4.26mg/L,lower than 0.47 mg/L of gramine and 1.19 mg/L of EMA.During joint addition of gramine and EMA,the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the algal cells were increased, but the ROS increase ratios were lower than the sum of the ratios from single actions of gramine and EMA.Mechanism of the growth antagonism was discussed in connection with allelochemical structures and the ROS increase level.
