摘要
Amniotic fluid embolism is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous conditions of pregnancy and treatment is mainly supportive. We report the case of a patient with an amniotic fluid embolism at 41 weeks of pregnancy with a sudden episode of thoracic pain accompanied by dyspnea. The clinical presentation consisted of hypotension, hypoxia and coagulopathy, causing maternal and fetal death.
