Mixed convection and entropy generation in a square cavity containing a rotating circular cylinder is simulated. The high accuracy local radial basis function method is developed for the simulations. Total entropy generation and average Bejan number due to heat transfer and fluid friction are analyzed in detail. The effect of flow patterns on local entropy generation and Bejan number is discussed.
