Mafic dykes separate 2.65 and 2.0 Ga events in the Central Zone of the Limpopo Belt. The dykes yielded emplacement ages of ∼2.6 Ga and metamorphic ages of ∼2.0 Ga. The dykes are probably related to orogenic collapse after the 2.65 Ga orogeny.
