The reduction of liquid radioactive waste using construction waste was explored. Sr2+, Co2+ and Ni2+ were sorbed onto waste ceramic (CT) and roof tiles (RT). The XRD, FT-IR and radiological analysis of CT and RT was performed. Sorption isotherms were defined and modeled. Simplex centroid design was used for the investigation of cation competition.
