We acquire a SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of 381.5 ± 4.1 Ma for the Wulanhada quartz-monzonite. The magma might have formed by partial melting of the basic rocks in the lower crust of the North China Craton. The Devonian alkaline rocks, along the northern North China Craton, indicate a post-collisional extension.
