Spatiotemporal variation of the surface water effect on the groundwater recharge in a low-precipitation region: Application of the multi-tracer approach to the Taihang Mountains, North China
The variability of groundwater recharge was investigated. Original isotopic and chemical data were used for endmember mixing analysis. The Wangkuai Reservoir contributes to groundwater recharge throughout the year. The groundwater recharge in the mountain-plain transitional area is seasonal. Rainfall affects groundwater recharge more in the wet season than streams.
