We have carried out MAE measurements on candle flames. It is the first that MAE measurements are reported for these types of flames. We measured soot volume fractions and temperatures at different flame locations. Soot production increases for larger wicks, with peaks observed at mid flame. Soot temperatures are between 2000 and 2200 K, independent of wick dimensions.
