Seven of glutathione S-transferases genes mRNA level expression profile was higher in the thiamethoxam resistantant and susceptible strain. A glutathione S-transferases gene (GST14) was investigated by RNA interference, the results showed that silencing the gene of GST14 increased the mortality of whiteflies to thiamethoxam.
