A 3rd-order polynomial temperature profile model for the heating and evaporation of moving droplets

A new liquid model for heating and evaporation of moving droplets is proposed.

3rd-order polynomial profile is assumed for internal temperature of droplet.

Internal circulation of droplet is approximated by Hill’s spherical vortex.

Droplet internal temperature distribution is correctly reflected by new model.

New model is more efficient than thermal conductivity models (CL and ETC models).
