The total acidity and fluorescence properties of DOM affect the complexation and toxicity of As. The toxicity of As to D. magna was positively correlated with measured As speciation. The result extended the FIAM application to the case of arsenic. An electrochemical method was firstly used to determine the complexation of HA with As.
