Facile synthesis of bimodal nanoporous carbons by templating selective Swelling-induced mesoporous block copolymers

Hierarchical nanoporous carbons with mesopores and micropores were synthesized. Mesoporous block copolymers were utilized as the synthesized templates. A capacitance of 165 F/g was maintained at 5 A/g after 10,000 cycles. Outstanding performances are attributed to the hierarchical nanoporous structures. The fast ion transport pathway and low resistance of charge diffusion are obtained.
