PEEK hollow fiber membrane modules were scaled up by a factor of 270 increase in membrane area for CO2 capture from flue gases using membrane contactor process. PEEK membrane contactor was tested in the field for CO2 capture. Volumetric mass transfer coefficient was as high as 1.5 (sec)-1. PEEK membrane contactor showed potential for natural gas flue gas CO2 capture.
