摘要

In this paper, the authors state the EMAP （Electro-Magnet Array Profiling） application in the geological survey of lithological hierarchical, fracture and basement tectonic in the Aer Sag located in Erenhot, Inner Mongolia. It is effective to avoid the problems caused by the static shift which are hardly solved with using EMAP method. And through effective data processing, it could not only display the stratum structure and space distribution of Aer Sag, find the depth of basement of the sag, but also reflect the location, properties, distribution and development characteristics of the faults controlling the sag, and also provide reliable initial data for forecasting the resources prospect in the exploration blank space.
