In this paper, the authors introduced several methods of static correction and discussed their advantages and disadvantages. After comparison of various methods, the authors chosen the TEM in time domain and CSAMT in frequency domain to perform the joint inversion and used the high precision calibration of TEM data to correct the CSAMT data affected by static effect. In prospecting a plum bum and zinc mine in Gansu Province, the authors applied the method of joint inversion to make static correction, and the result is in good agreement with the actual geological conditions.
