Zircon U-Pb Ages of Magmatic Rocks of Dabaoshan Molybdenum-Polymetallic Deposit, Guangdong Province

摘要
Dabaoshan molybdenum-polymetallic deposit is located in the middle of Nanling Range metallogenic belt.The wall rocks are mainly dacite porphyry and granodiorite porphyry,while the molybdenum-polymetallic ore-bodies are controlled by structural framework formed by NE-,NW-and E-W trending faults.Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of Qiuba dacite porphyry and Chuandu granodiorite porphyry are yielded 206Pb/238U ages of 419 ~ 496 Ma and 410 ~ 489 Ma,respectively,which indicated that they form at the same time and may come from the same source.SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of Dabaoshan strongly altered dacite porphyry nearby the molybdenum-polymetallic ore-bodies are yielded two group of 206Pb/238U ages: 145 ~ 168 Ma and 412 ~ 420 Ma.Geochronology data indicated that a large area distribution of dacite porphyry and granodiorite porphyry were formed in late Caledonian,while the strongly altered dacite porphyry surrounding molybdenum-polymetallic ore-bodies is formed in early Yanshanian.
