Shimensi tungsten polymetallic deposit is located in Mesozoic Cu-Mo-Au-Ag-Pb-Zn ore belt, Jiangnan block, Lower Yangtze metallogenic province. Based on the regional geological setting and metallogenic geological feature of the deposit, this paper analyzes the ore-control factors in detail, such as country rock, host rock and fractures in the study area. The country rock is biotite granodiorite of late Jinning period which is recognized the S-type granite in syn-collision volcanic arc developed on basis of immature continental crust during Neo-Proterozoic era.
