The Geological Survey of China cii-font-family: ’times new roman’; mso-hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">（ce="Times New Roman">GSCcii-font-family: ’times new roman’; mso-hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">）ce="Times New Roman"> ,found in 1913, is the first modern scientific research institution of China. GSC made great successes not only in geology, but also in paleontology, geography, seismology, agrology, archaeology, paleo-anthropology, fuels and cartography, etc.
