The black rock series of Lower Cambrian in south Qinling are found in passive continental margin rift and depression basin of north Yangtze Block, charactered by thick silicalite, carbonate-containing silicalite, claystone mingled with carbonatite and barite sheet. Vanadic mineral-bearing hydrothermal fluid migrating with control-basin growth fault is absorbed by claystone and provenance layers are formed. Owing to the consequent slipping thrust nappe from north to south in Indosinian to Yanshanian, ductile shear belt between basement and capping formation made metallogenic element of provenance layer actively migrate to accumulate mineralization.
