Review on Degradation of Coastal Wetlands of Northern China Sea
There are about 182.33×104 hm2 coastal wetlands along northern China Sea, the types of the coastal wetlands above include estuary wetland, river delta wetland, silt—clayey coastal wetland, bay wetland, sandy coastal wetland, intertidal wetland of sedimentary island, coastal lagoon wetland, etc. The physical degradation concerns the decrease of natural wetland, the enlargement of artificial wetland, the landscape fragmentation of coastal wetland, etc. The chemical degradation concerns the enlargement of greenhouse gas emission, water eutrophication, red tide of subtidal wetland increase, pollution of sediment and catches, soil salinity change, etc.
