///Fengcun landfill of Zhanjiang City is built in the recharge areas of groundwater circulatory systems. The methods of evaluation of the shallow layer groundwater pollution are the single-factor pollution index methods and the multi-elements Nemero pollution index methods. The evaluation results show that the groundwater in shallow layer around the Fengcun landfill have been polluted in a certain degree. Moreover, the groundwater pollution is in middle degree or serious degree. Their control measures include the establishment of ground water control district, the establishment of groundwater monitoring network system, the establishment of groundwater management model, and implement that prevent the main principles of prevention and treatment combination.
