摘要
Two recently-exposed sections, Hengdu Quarry in Jiangshan and Liujia road-cut section in Tonglu, western Zhejiang Province, offer excellent exposure of Tremadocian-Sandbian strata. On the basis of the graptolite successions, four graptolite zones are recognized, in an ascending order, the Nicholsonograptus fasciculatus, the Pterograptus elegans, the “Hustedograptus teretiusculus” (and Dicellograptus vagus Subzone), and the Nemagraptus gracilis biozones. Based on the palaeontological and biostratigraphic study of these specimens, the FADs of these Dicellograptus species are summarized, and the origin and early evolution of dicellograptids is discussed in this paper.
